Gazing at Spartan Stadium from Olds Hall and dreaming of football season is one of the only things that could make us wish summer was over a little faster. For those wanting to get ready for game day, 2022 season tickets are available for purchase through the Spartan Ticket Office. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.

Steven L. Bridges, newly appointed interim director of the Broad Art Museum, discusses a sculpture in the exhibition “History Told Slant: Seventy-seven Years of Collecting Art at MSU.” Bridges has served as a curator at the museum for over six years, curating several major exhibitions including “History Told Slant.” Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
A cow sticks its head out of a gate as if to say, ”Hello from the MSU Farms!” The South Campus Animal Farms are home to the Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center, where approximately 200 Holstein cows are cared for and studied by MSU students, faculty and staff. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
A heart-shaped leaf can be seen on a campus yellow-wood tree. While it can be attributed to insects feasting on the edges of the foliage, it’s still really sweet. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
The dome of the MSU Observatory shows off some Spartan pride with a freshly-painted Spartan helmet on its side. The observatory features a 24-inch reflecting telescope that can be viewed by the public during the summer on public observing nights. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
