Tennis Center to host open house Nov. 12

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State University Tennis Center will host a 25th anniversary open house Nov. 12.

The public is invited to tour the facility, learn about the center’s programs and enjoy refreshments. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“We’re celebrating 25 years of loving the game of tennis, and we want the community to be a part of it,” said manager Heather Mactaggart. “From drill sessions and leagues to private lessons and our killer Cardio Tennis workout, we really do have something for everyone.”

The MSU Tennis Center is an indoor membership-free facility that is open to the public and the MSU community. The Tennis Center offers lessons, classes, leagues, permanent court time and travel teams to all ages and skill levels. The facility houses a pro shop and indoor courts with permanent seating for 1,200.

The MSU Tennis Center is home to the MSU Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams, and is a teaching center for the MSU Department of Kinesiology. The facility is a part of MSU’s Division of Residential and Hospitality Services.
