Media advisory: MSU Board of Trustees to hold regularly scheduled meeting Oct. 30

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled public meeting on Friday, Oct. 30. The agenda includes:

• A research presentation, “TEMPEST: MSU’s Newest Science and Technology Center,” by Michael Murillo, director of Transformative Explorations in Multi-Physics and Engineering of Scientific Turbulence and professor in the colleges of Engineering and Natural Science.
• Approval of the State of Michigan Fiscal Year 2028 Capital Outlay Project Request and Five-year Capital Plan.
• Acceptance of the audited financial statements for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

Date/time: Friday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m.

Location: The meeting will be held in the fourth-floor boardroom of the Hannah Administration Building at 426 Auditorium Road, East Lansing, Michigan, 48824.
