Media advisory: MSU to hold news conference regarding power plant, campus operations

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University will hold a news conference regarding Saturday’s widespread power outage on campus and how the university is working to address some of the cascading impacts to the campus community. University leadership will be available to address questions from the media.

Expected speakers:

• Kevin M. Guskiewicz, Ph.D., MSU president
• Kenneth McFarlane, associate vice president for strategic infrastructure planning and facilities
• Patricia Martinez, associate vice president, Residential and Hospitality Services
