MSU Twin Registry and Detroit Pistons Third Annual Twin Night

The MSU Twin Registry and the Detroit Pistons are partnering once again for the third annual Twin Night on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Little Caesars Arena, with even new offerings for fans this year.

The Twin Night celebrates both Ausar Thompson from the Detroit Pistons and Kris Murray from the Portland Trail Blazers, both who have twins playing in the NBA.

New this year, ticket packages include added perks, including a postgame free throw on the court. The Pistons are offering a range of Twin Night tickets from $24 to $42. Each ticket includes a ticket to the matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 5, a special Twin Night crew sweatshirt and the post-game free throw experience! Fans can also choose the $42 option to enjoy unlimited hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and soda.

Best of all, each ticket purchased sends a $5 donation directly to the MSU Twin Registry.

The MSU Twin Registry is housed in the Department of Psychology at Michigan State University. The registry is made up of more than 30,000 twins and their families from Michigan and surrounding states. By participating in research studies, these twins provide invaluable insights into the key factors that impact major physical and mental health conditions such as cancer and depression.

“This event helps celebrate and bring attention to the invaluable contributions that twins and their families have made to research. Because of them, there have been discoveries that significantly impact individual and public health,” said Alex Burt, SSC Diamond Distinguished Professor of Psychology and co-director of the MSU Twin Registry. “We’re especially excited that Twin Night has expanded this year with new offerings, which makes it an extra fun way to honor the twin community.”
