Tom Izzo greets fans at Michigan State Madness. A surprise video by lifelong friend and former Northern Michigan University quarterback Steve Mariucci informed Izzo that his basketball jersey, No. 10, will be retired by Northern Michigan University in celebration of his career as both a collegiate player and coach, which began at NMU in 1974.
