With more than half of MSU’s roads equipped with bicycle lanes, biking is an ideal way for many Spartans to get around campus. With the help of the MSU Bikes Service Center, it’s also easy to rent, repair or purchase a bike on campus. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.

MSU men’s basketball Head Coach Tom Izzo and President Kevin M. Guskiewicz, Ph.D., met up with former Spartan and NBA basketball player Draymond Green at the men’s basketball pros vs. players game, part of the team’s “grind week” as they prepare for the upcoming season. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.

During the Sept. 14 game against Prairie View A&M, Michigan State Athletics made history by inducting the 1965-66 football teams into the Hall of Fame, the first entire teams to receive the honor. Alongside six individual inductees, members of the historic teams took to the field to be recognized for their accomplishments and the trailblazing seasons that not only saw Big Ten championships but the breakdown of racial barriers in college football. Three Spartan football fans watch as the team achieves a shutout victory against Prairie View A&M, 40-0. The victory brings Michigan State to 3-0 for the season so far, a streak that will hopefully continue next week as they head to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, to take on Boston College.
