59th annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show

The MSU University Activities Board, or UAB, is excited to host the 59th annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show, May 20 and 21. Held on the grounds around the MSU Union, the annual arts and crafts show is a seasonal tradition and beloved community event for all. Hours are as follows:

A bicycle with an Arts and Crafts Show sign sit in front of block MSU on campus in East Lansing

  • Saturday, May 20: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 21: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The annual show is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in Michigan. This year, the show will feature over 200 talented artisans and is expected to host tens of thousands of patrons over the weekend. The show is scheduled to run concurrently with the East Lansing Arts Festival. Patrons are welcome to come and enjoy the event free of charge, with vendors showcasing an array of unique items for sale.

The Spring Arts and Crafts Show focuses on high quality "handmade" arts and crafts. With warmer weather on the calendar, find the perfect piece of decor for the living room, garden or outdoor deck. Along with home and yard decor, there will be a broad range of items including candles, furniture, jewelry, aromatherapy, clothing, children’s toys, paintings, graphics, pottery, sculpture, photography and much more!

Whether looking to pick up a heartfelt gift or simply bring some seasonal cheer to a loved one, the Spring Arts and Crafts Show is an ideal opportunity to support small business owners and MSU students. All crafter/artisan fees go to support free programming for the Spartan community at MSU. Undergraduate students of UAB plan, coordinate and execute programs like craft nights, open mics, cultural celebrations, wellness events, mixers, and late-night alternative programming.
