The Broad Art Museum is often described as resembling a spaceship that has landed on MSU’s campus, and seen at night with its cool metal exterior and glowing entrance, it’s hard not to pick up some otherworldly vibes. While the museum isn’t likely to take off like a UFO any time soon, the art displayed within is constantly rotating and changing, and there are always new exhibitions to explore. One newcomer to the Broad Museum is “DIE/GEST,” an interactive mixed media installation bringing together art, music, poetry and spoken word. An opening program will be held on Feb. 17 for the exhibition, featuring live music and spoken word performances by artists Albert Marquès and Keith LaMar. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
