Michigan State sophomore guard/forward Matilda Ekh will represent Sweden in the FIBA U20 Women's Basketball European Championships.
The Championships are scheduled for July 8-16 in Sopron, Hungary, and fans can catch all the action streaming live on FIBA YouTube.
Ekh, a 6-0 guard/forward from Västerås, Sweden, had a stellar freshman season, averaging 11.8 points per game. She also led the Spartans draining 123 treys during her rookie campaign. Ekh and fellow freshman DeeDee Hagemann both earned Big Ten All-Freshman team and All-Big Ten honors last season.
