Each semester the Michigan State University Board of Trustees recognizes graduating seniors who earned the highest scholastic average, a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
For the summer 2022 semester, 18 students received the Board of Trustees Award. In addition to the award, students will receive $1,000 from the university for their accomplishments and be recognized in the next Board of Trustees meeting.
The students who received recognition are:
Mitchell C. Baggett: Finance, Eli Broad College of Business. Baggett is from Grand Blanc, Michigan, and attended Grand Blanc Community School.
Nicholas C. Battjes: Environmental Geosciences, College of Natural Science. Battjes is from Fowlerville, Michigan, and attended Williamston High School.
Nathaniel T. Chevalier: Linguistics, College of Arts and Letters. Chevalier is from Rochester, Michigan, and attended Stoney Creek High School.
Stephanie Chow: Supply Chain Management, Eli Broad College of Business. Chow is from Portland, Oregon, and attended Walled Lake Western High School.
Caitlin M. Farra: Zoology, College of Natural Science and member of the Honors College. Farra is from Lansing, Michigan, and attended Okemos High School.
Katherine G. Frieden: Psychology, College of Social Science and member of the Honors College. Frieden is from Northbrook, Illinois, and attended Glenbrook North High School.
