MSU Broad Art Museum celebrates 10th anniversary

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University announces a roster of public programs celebrating the museum’s 10th anniversary during the month of November, including events for families, students and the Greater Lansing community. The MSU Broad Art Museum opened on Nov. 10, 2012.

“As we celebrate 10 years at the MSU Broad Art Museum, we’re also celebrating our community, collaborators and the vibrant arts energy that is found both on and off campus,” comments Zoe Kissel, director of communications at the MSU Broad Art Museum. “It’s a time to look back at all the wonderful exhibitions and events the museum has held over the years, as well as the exciting programs we have planned for the future in this remarkable building.”

One of the must-attend events in November is a keynote lecture presented alongside the signature exhibition Zaha Hadid Design: Untold. Craig Kiner, the project director at Zaha Hadid Architects for the MSU Broad Art Museum, will discuss the museum’s architecture and the process of designing and building the museum.

The MSU Broad Art Museum is always free and open to all. Visitors must reserve free tickets in advance to attend events. Visit broadmuseum.msu.edu/events for more information and to register.
