"Today was really great; it was exactly what we were going for. We talked a lot about being in it for the fight. We want to be fighting for one another and racing as a team. Those are things that we wanted them to do, and honestly they did that so well today," Director of Track &Field/Cross Country Lisa Breznau said. "We talk about building confidence, not just who they are as athletes. Who they are when they are away from here. I truly believe how they walk in life is how they are going to behave when they get to the race course."
