Sparty sprinted onto the field to deliver the game flag at the final home game of the season on Saturday in Spartan Stadium. Snow falls along the tops of reliefs carved into a limestone pillar near MSU’s Abbot Road entrance, created as a gift of the class of 1938 by artist Samuel Cashwan. The pillar harkens back to the university’s agricultural roots and depicts a man, woman, horse and sheath of wheat. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
With snow on the ground giving wintertime vibes, the MSU College Advising Corps gave students a taste of fall by passing out cider and donuts while promoting their program. The MSUCAC assists high school students seeking post-secondary education by placing recent MSU grads alongside counselors and college access organizations to give a near-peer perspective to high school students on the college application process.
