The American flag waves proudly over the MSU Alumni Memorial Chapel, two reminders of Spartans who have served as we approach Veteran’s Day. The Alumni Chapel was completed in 1952, dedicated to Spartans who served and died in the United Stated military during World War II. The chapel’s entrance is engraved with 586 names and dates of men and women who died serving their country though military service, going as far back as 1861 — commemorating Spartans who served in the Civil War.
