Throughout the years, the city of East Lansing has evolved. For Spartans who find themselves visiting between classes or on game days, they’ll notice the differences that welcome them on Grand River Avenue and Albert Street. The city’s skyline has changed; restaurants and stores have come and gone; and old classics have given way to new favorites. But what has remained is the city’s energy: It meets the excitement of a new home away from home for incoming freshmen and the sentimentality for alumni who visit.
When you think of MSU, you think of the city of East Lansing. They are forever connected.
