Spartan Employee Spotlight – Academic specialists

Hasina Saraha is an academic specialist teaching chemistry in Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College. She joined the LBC faculty in 2018 after receiving a doctorate in organic chemistry from Wayne State University. 

An integral part of the educational framework, there are more than 950 academic specialists at MSU. Academic specialists serve in functional areas that include teaching, advising, developing curriculum, participating in outreach and conducting research.

Lyman Briggs College is MSU's undergraduate, residential, degree-granting college dedicated to innovative and inclusive teaching, research and engagement with the sciences in their diverse human, social and global contexts.
