MSU president Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D. is taking a road trip to round out the summer, visiting the Upper Peninsula and learning more about MSU's impact up north. Along with checking out Mackinac Island and trying pasties for the first time, the president toured the
MSU Forestry Innovation Center in Escanaba, one of MSU’s three AgBioResearch stations in the UP. The team taught President Stanley about the diverse work that goes on at the center, from Christmas tree and maple syrup production
to forest and wildlife management and logger training. Photo by Antonio Sanchez.
