The wall sculpture “Cadence” provides a source of inspiration for diligent students in the Molecular Plant Sciences Building atrium. When creating “Cadence,” sculptor Albert Paley looked to the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences’s teaching, outreach and engagement to
inform the design. The sculpture flows from the atrium to the outside of the building, suggesting that their work takes place both in the academic building and the gardens beyond. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
