Former Spartan hockey player Jeff Petry and the Montreal Canadiens will square off with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2021 Stanley Cup Final, beginning on Monday night. Petry is looking to become the 16th Stanley Cup champion in MSU program history.
Petry led Montreal during the regular season with 30 assists as he had one of his most productive seasons in his 11-year NHL career. In just 55 games, Petry compiled 42 points in the shortened 2020-21 season.
