With another record-producing year in the classroom, the Michigan State athletic department placed a total of 269 student-athletes among the Big Ten's list of Distinguished Scholars.
The Academic All-Big Ten threshold is a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for a student's academic career. Over the course of the 2020-21 academic year, 399 MSU student-athletes across 25 varsity sports earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
