No. 25 Michigan State stays perfect with win over Purdue

The Spartans open Big Ten action 3-0 for the first time since the 2013–14 campaign.

Behind a game-high 23 points from junior guard Nia Clouden, the No. 25 Michigan State women's basketball team improved to 3–0 in Big Ten action with a, 71–64, win over Purdue Sunday afternoon in West Lafayette, Indiana.

MSU improves to 8–0 for the first time since the 2012-13 Spartan squad started the season with the same record. MSU also starts the season 3–0 in Big Ten play for the first time since the 2013–14 campaign. Purdue falls to 5–3 overall and 2–2 in league action.
