Michigan State University’s Department of Theatre returns to full-scale performances this month with its first mainstage production, “A Contemporary American’s Guide to a Successful Marriage” by Robert Bastron. Performances run Oct. 15-24 at the Pasant Theatre in the Wharton Center for Performing Arts. Attendees must be masked for the health and safety of our students.
Set against the backdrop of the late 1950s and told in the style of the social guidance films of that era, this satirical comedy compares the joys of marriage promised in popular culture to the reality of shattered marital myths.
