Jenna Magness broke a six-year old Michigan State record as she battled to a fourth-place in finish on the final day of the NCAA Championships at Heyward Field in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday.
Magness crossed the line with a time of 15:32.91, smashing the MSU school record which was held by Spartan All-American Rachele Schulist with a time of 15:36.33 in 2015. The junior's previous personal best was 15:38.82 at the Big Ten Championships in May.
