Michigan State senior James Piot's run at the 2021 NCAA Championships came to an end on Sunday evening. The native of Canton shot an 8-over-par 78 on Sunday, finishing the three rounds 11-over-par 222 and tied for 90th place. Piot came up short in needing to be one of top nine individuals not on one of the 15 advancing teams to move on to Monday's final round to get a shot at the individual national championship.
