Senior forward Marcus Bingham Jr. (Grand Rapids, Mich./GR Catholic Central) had a double-double with 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to lead No. 19 Michigan State to an 80-64 win over Penn State on Saturday afternoon.
It was the ninth win in the last 10 games for the Spartans, who improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten. Penn State falls to 5-5 overall and 0-2 in league play. Senior forward Gabe Brown (Ypsilanti, Mich./Belleville) scored a game-high 15 points and had five rebounds while junior guard Tyson Walker (Westbury, N.Y./Christ the King/Northeastern) added 10 points and nine assists.
