Zeke the Wonder Dog will always be our MVP. The fabulous frisbee-catching canine is a tradition unique to MSU, wowing the crowd at football games with amazing tricks for more than 40 years. Photo by Nick Schrader.
Anybody need a fresh pair of wheels? An MSU Bikes employee gets a bicycle ready to ride. MSU Bikes provides new and pre-owned bicycles for the campus community, as well as acts as a repair and service center. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
Once Spartans get choppin’, they aren’t stoppin’! Michigan State football defeated Maryland in a return to form on Saturday, 40–21. The team’s next opponent is Ohio State on Nov. 20 in Columbus, Ohio. Photo by Nick Schrader.
Fire and ice combine in the vivid leaves of an ice dragon maple tree in the Kathleen and Milton Muelder Japanese Garden. The garden, part of the Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum, was created combining several styles of traditional Japanese gardens, in the hope that the solitude and tranquility of the garden would create “restorative magic” for its visitors. A view from above the Red Cedar River shows fall splendor at its fullest, with campus trees displaying a full spectrum of autumnal hues. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
It may be getting chilly outside, but Spartan fans always bring the heat. Photo by Nick Schrader.
What do our pigs expect when they’re expecting? World-class care from MSU students, faculty and staff of course! Students at MSU’s Swine Teaching and Research Center take ultrasounds for the expectant mothers under the watchful eye of the facility’s Operations Supervisor, Chris Rozebloom. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
The Rock was painted in honor of Veterans Day, Nov. 11. On Veterans Day and every day, we appreciate all veterans for their sacrifice and service. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.
