Off to a gig? Perhaps. With brass instruments in hand, members of the MSU Marching Band take a stroll through campus. If you’ve got an instrument that could use a new home, the Michigan and Michigan State Marching Bands are collaborating to support Detroit Harmony, an initiative that secures instruments and musical opportunities for Detroit students, in an instrument drive being held Oct. 30 at the MSU–U of M football game. Donors can drop off instruments at the game, or visit Detroit Harmony’s website to find another drop-off site. Photo by Lisa Mulcrone.
