Things were looking good for Michigan State as the clock ticked down late in the third period.
Leading 2-1, the Spartans were playing good defense and battling hard in an effort to send the seniors out with a victory on Senior Night on Saturday at Munn Arena.
But a couple of mistakes turned into Ohio State goals, and just like that – within one minute and 28 seconds – Michigan State was behind 3-2.
