Despite two players grabbing double-doubles, the No. 8-seeded Michigan State women's basketball's comeback fell short against No. 9-seeded Purdue Thursday in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Spartans fall to 16-14 this season, while Purdue improves to 18-13. The Boilermakers will take on top-seeded Maryland on Friday.
