Amidst the novel coronavirus pandemic, MSU’s Environmental Health and Safety, or EHS, is diligently working to prioritize the health and safety of all Spartans and ensure that proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, is depicted in all photo and video shoots. The EHS unit urges all of MSU, including researchers, to comply with the university and state guidelines presented on where and when to wear PPE.
Individuals and units asked to be part of a media presentation, photo shoot or video should demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance by:
EHS states that not only can those with malicious intent misuse your information, but federal agencies will also inquire if they see inappropriate safety, health or sensitive data problems. Protect yourself and your research by checking in with EHS before allowing access to your facilities.
The safest way to ensure proper compliance is reaching out to EHS at ehs@msu.edu when photos or videos are done in labs.
