Michigan State earned its third win on the weekend with a 4-2 victory over Dayton to wrap up the Miami Invitational. The Spartans have won four of their last five and improve to 10-16, while the Flyers fall to 9-13.
The Spartans downed Dayton for the second time in as many days. An offensive explosion fueled Saturday's 9-1 win, but a six-inning pitching effort from Alli Walker and a three-batter save from McKenna Gregory (two strikeouts) was the backbone of MSU's victory on Sunday.
