Miller’s golden goal pushes Spartans past Wisconsin

Junior midfielder Michael Miller bent in a corner kick in the 94th minute, as Michigan State men's soccer edged Wisconsin, 2-1, in overtime Sunday at McClimon Memorial Soccer Complex. The win was MSU's first win in extra time this season.

With the win, the Spartans improve to 2-6-2 overall and 2-1-0 in Big Ten action. Both of MSU's wins have been on the road. Wisconsin is now 2-8-1 overall and 0-2-1 in league play. This was the Spartans' first win in Madison since 2007.
