The Michigan State field hockey team jumped into the Top-25 of the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coach Poll, it was announced Tuesday.
The Spartans jump into the No. 25 spot in the latest poll after at 3-1 start to the 2019 season. MSU has wins overs St. Francis (7-0), Kent State (1-0) and UC Davis (2-1, 2OT).
The Spartans are coming off a weekend in which they split a pair of contests with UC Davis and No. 12 Louisville. The Spartans used an overtime goal from junior Lia Sinisi to knock off the Aggies on Friday at Ralph Young Field before dropping a 4-1 decision to the 12th-ranked Cardinals on Sunday.
