Women's soccer freshman defender Bria Schrotenboer was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team on Thursday, Oct. 31 by the Big Ten Conference.
Schrotenboer, a native of Holland, Michigan, started in 16 games for the Spartans this season and played 1,411 minutes. She was one of two freshmen to earn starting positions for Michigan State this season.
Schrotenboer scored her first career goal on Oct. 19 against in-state rival Michigan.
