We have heard rumors about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in the south neighborhood. The university is not aware of any ICE agents patrolling campus.
Three U.S. Customs and Border Protections agents are on campus to present during a class. MSU’s Department of Supply Chain Management partnered with Fiat Chrysler’s Customs Compliance and Security to present a three-day course about the role of U.S. Customs and Border Protections in supply chain security programs, the importing process, trade agreements and related legislation. The class will meet Oct. 18, 25 and Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon.
