Chavers named head coach of Spartan rowing

Athletic director Bill Beekman has announced the hiring of Kim Chavers as Michigan State's head rowing coach. A former collegiate rower and assistant coach at Old Dominion, Indiana and Stetson, Chavers will serve as the third head coach in program history and brings a commitment to student-athlete success, well-being and development to East Lansing.
