MSU opens May portion of schedule battling Purdue

Michigan State baseball will open the May portion of the schedule by heading to West Lafayette, Indiana to take on Purdue in a three-game Big Ten Conference weekend series. MSU is returning to action after not playing any midweek games due to finals week.

Friday's series opener is slated for a 6 p.m. first pitch at Purdue's Alexander Field, followed by Saturday's second game also at 6 p.m. The series wraps up on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Spartans are facing the Boilermakers for the first time since 2016, when they also made the trek to West Lafayette, with MSU winning the weekend series two games to one, as the Spartans have won six of the last eight in the overall match-up.
