By: Ingmar Pack

The Visiting International Professional Program, or VIPP, is pleased to announce that Rui Li’s “I Came, I Saw, I Love MSU” art exhibition will be showcased 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 25-26 in the International Center, Room 201.

Li’s art is inspired by her stay at MSU from August 2018 to March 2019, where she was a visiting scholar hosted by VIPP. Li is a professor, painter and graduate supervisor at Taiyuan University of Technology in Taiyuan, China.

With a master’s degree in Chinese painting, Li does research, paints and teaches in this field. She is currently a member of the Kongzi Studio of China National Academy of Painting and the China Female Artist Association. Her paintings have been selected for various national and provincial exhibitions and have won multiple awards. Recently, she published her collection, “Rui Li’s Chinese Painting.”

The free event is open to the public.
