As enrollment in Michigan State University’s online master’s programs continues to trend upward, their national rankings continue gaining prominence.
In its 2019 ranking for online graduate programs, released today, U.S. News & World Report ranked all four of MSU’s participating online graduate programs in the top 25.
MSU’s online graduate education programs jumped to no. 5 in the nation. Since 2013, the College of Education has gradually climbed in the national ranking and cracked the top 10 in 2017. This year is the highest ranking the college has earned to date.
“At MSU, we are dedicated to creating and teaching innovative online courses that connect faculty expertise with enriched learning opportunities for students,” said Robert E. Floden, dean of the MSU College of Education.
The online criminal justice program maintained the no. 10 position, which it has held since 2017. The program ranked no. 26 in 2015 and has since climbed – and stayed – in the top 10.
MSU’s online nursing graduate program ranked no. 17. Nursing has steadily climbed this ranking since 2013, when it ranked no. 43.
The Eli Broad College of Business’ online non-MBA graduate programs secured the no. 23 spot on the national ranking, maintaining its position in the top 25. The Broad College’s programs leaped over 40 positions since 2015.
