The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced its list of National Scholar-Athletes for the 2018 season. Ten Spartans were awarded this honor at the completion of the 2017-18 academic year.
Requirements for being named to the CRCA National Scholar-Athlete squad include at least sophomore athletic eligibility standing, rowing in an NCAA-eligible boat (first or second varsity eight, varsity four) for at least 75 percent of the spring racing season, and a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average or higher.
