54th annual MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show

The University Activities Board presents the 54th annual MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show. The show will take place 9 a.m. – 6 p.m May 19 and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. May 20 on the outside grounds of the MSU Union near the corner of Grand River Avenue and Abbot Road. Admission to the show is free.

The MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the state with more than 320 different booths. This year’s show includes many returning favorites as well as brand new artists. There will be a broad range of exhibitors selling handmade items. Items include: candles, furniture, jewelry, home and yard décor, aromatherapy, clothing, children’s toys, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture and more. 

Parking is available on campus for shoppers including the Grand River Parking Ramp and is complimentary. MSU Concessions and MSU Dairy Store ice cream will be available as reasonably priced dining options, and restrooms are available on-site.

The biannual craft shows are fundraisers for the University Activities Board programming budget. All crafter/artisan fees collected for both shows go towards offering free program for the Spartan community at MSU, which is planned for students, by students. Programs include bi-weekly craft nights and open mic nights as well as late night programs such as UFest, Last Spartan Standing and more.

The intersection of East and West Circle Drive will close at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday night to facilitate the load-in of crafters. Southbound Abbot Rd. will close at 5 p.m. on Friday to facilitate crafter load-in. It is also designated as Disabled Parking during the show.
