MSU HealthTeam, the faculty medical practice of Michigan State University, partnered with Priority Health, a health insurance provider, to allow customers with HMO, PPO, POS and Medicare coverage to seek health care services with more than 225 providers affiliated with the medical practice.
“As a care provider, participation with Priority Health in every MSU HealthTeam office increases access to care, which improves the health of all the communities we serve,” said Michael Herbert, CEO of MSU HealthTeam. “This adds to our complement of diverse options for covering services and is another way in which we deliver quality and safe patient and family-centered care.”
MSU HealthTeam physicians primarily practice at locations throughout the greater Lansing area, although the organization’s outreach clinics serve patients from around the state. The group’s largest clinical practice location is the MSU Clinical Center, located on campus.
Priority Health partners with physicians and practices to improve health outcomes, lower the cost of care and help engage members in their own health.
