Theater and science come together on stage when Rosie Revere, engineer; Iggy Peck, architect; and Ada Twist, scientist make their debut at 1:30 and 4 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Wharton Center’s Pasant Theatre stage.
Rosie has big engineering dream; Iggy has a drive for architecture; and Ada is filled to the brim with curiosity. Together the trio drives their teacher, Ms. Greer, crazy. By using their creative thinking and unique talents, they figure out a way to pursue their dreams and reach their true potential.
Based on the books, “Rosie Revere, Engineer,” “Iggy Peck, Architect,” and “Ada Twist, Scientist,” by Andrea Beaty, the show seamlessly combines science, technology, engineering and math curriculum, or STEM, and entertainment for a younger audience.
Wharton Center will offer a sensory-friendly performance at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 9. This performance will provide an inviting and adaptable environment for those with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, sensory processing disorder and other sensory-sensitive people and their families.
