Children’s Cancer Clinic celebrates holidays with Spartan cancer survivors

By: Melissa Jegla

The Pediatric Hematology Oncology staff at Michigan State University will host Spartan cancer fighters and their families for a holiday celebration from 2-5 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Michigan Athletic Club.

The event features League of Enchantment superhero visits, crafts, pizza, MSU Cheer and MSU Dance activities. States of Fifth and the MSU A Capella co-ed group will provide music. The children will also have the opportunity to see Santa before the event ends.

The event is open to children recently and currently in cancer treatment from ages 2 and older, and their families.
