Spartans host Purple Eagles in earliest home opener in program history

MSU baseball makes its 2018 home debut this weekend in the earliest home game in program history, hosting Niagara in a four-game series, Thursday-Sunday, March 15-18 at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field.

The Spartans and Purple Eagles open the series at 3:05 p.m., Thursday, followed by Friday also at 3:05 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's series finale both start at 1:05 p.m.

MSU played its first 14 games away from home and the March 15 home opener is the earliest ever at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field, bettering the previous earliest home opener of March 20 in 2009.
