At the Dec. 18 Board of Trustees meeting, seven graduating students were recognized with Board of Trustees’ Awards for having the highest scholastic average at the close of his or her last semester in attendance at Michigan State University.
All students received a 4.0 GPA.
The students also will be recognized at their fall commencements Dec. 19.
Following is the list of awardees.
Kali Allis, of Pinckney. A member of the Honors College, Allis is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. She is a graduate of Pinckney Community High School.
John Gillis, of Farmington Hills. A member of the Honors College, Gillis is a mechanical engineering major in the College of Engineering. He is a graduate of Farmington High School.
Megan Kechner, of Davison. A member of the Honors College, Kechner is a neuroscience major in the College of Natural Science. She is a graduate of Davison High School.
Andrew Korneffel, of Harrison Township. Korneffel is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. He is a graduate of L’Anse Creuse High School in Harrison Township.
Jeremy Martineau, of Sterling Heights. A member of the Honors College, Martineau is an accounting major in the Eli Broad College of Business. He is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights.
Timothy Stieve, of Frankfort. Stieve is an environmental biology/microbiology major in the College of Natural Science. He is a graduate of Frankfort High School.
Angela Sun, of Canton. A member of the Honors College, Sun is a computer science major in the College of Engineering. She is a graduate of Canton High School.
