At the MSU College of Arts & Letters Create Camp, kids in grades nine to 12 will see their imagination and ideas come to life. They will learn from industry experts and MSU faculty and staff to create their own creative projects. Campers will have the opportunity to produce:
• Art pieces with wood, metal, plastic or glass
• Interactive electronics
• Screen print on T-shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies
• Custom stickers and decals
Campers will use state-of-the-art technology to produce high quality products, and will leave camp knowing how to work with:
• 3D printers
• Laser cutters
• Vinyl cutters
• Basic electronics
• A variety of other tools to design and construct their own creative ideas
This five-day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from July 14 to July 18 at 305 Linton Hall on MSU’s campus. Campers should bring their own brown bag lunch on all days except July 18, when we will have pizza during final presentations.
The cost is $200 per student. Camp includes snacks, a camp T-shirt, art supplies, Friday pizza and beverage.
