At the Dec. 13 Board of Trustees meeting, six students were recognized with Board of Trustees’ Awards for having the highest grade point average at the close of his or her last semester in attendance at MSU.
The students will be recognized at their fall commencements Dec. 13-14.
Following is the list of awardees in alphabetical order:
Joshua Corteville, of Lowell, is the son of David and Jennifer Corteville. A member of the Honors College, Corteville is majoring in physiology in Lyman Briggs College and has a 3.977 GPA. He is a graduate of Lowell Senior High School.
Stephanie DeBolle, of Macomb Township, is the daughter of Karen DeBolle and Michael DeBolle. DeBolle is majoring in human biology in the College of Natural Science and has a 4.0 GPA. She is a graduate of Dakota High School.
Tracie Green, of Troy, is the daughter of Donna and Milford Green. A member of the Honor College, Green is majoring in communication in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences and has a 4.0 GPA. She is a graduate of Avondale Senior High School.
Craig Miller, Jr., of Kalkaska, is the son of Lisa and Craig Miller. He is majoring in mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering and has a 4.0 GPA. Miller is a graduate of Kalkaska High School.
Evan Pennisi, of Dearborn, is the son of Anne and Leonard Pennisi. He is majoring in accounting in the Eli Broad College of Business and has a 4.0 GPA. Pennisi is a graduate of Divine Child High School.
Zachary Reed, of Rochester, is the son of Ren and Scott Reed. A member of the Honors College, Reed is majoring in finance in the Eli Broad College of Business and has a 4.0 GPA. He is a graduate of Stoney Creek High School.
