EAST LANSING, Mich. — The effort of a group of Michigan State University radiology residents has earned MSU/Flint Area Medical Education's diagnostic radiology program the top clinical exam score on the recent American Board of Radiology exam.
MSU/FAME, a College of Human Medicine community campus, offers medical education and clinical opportunities in the Flint area. The Diagnostic Radiology Residency program ranked number one out of 201 programs nationwide on the clinical portion of the Initial Qualification Examination Performance Report.
All residents passed the test, and the scores of Anant Patel and Venkat Tummala propelled the program to the top ranking, according to MSU/FAME. The residency program is part of MSU's Department of Radiology, a joint department of the colleges of Human Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine.
